How do rivers work?

  


We dug out channels and ran water through them. We noticed the sides were breaking away (erosion) from the water. Two of our rivers joined up. We also watched the water coming down the mountain and how it created streams into the lake.

Working Together and Sharing our Stories

During Mana Aoturoa we tell many stories. Our oral language grows as we learn to share and create together.

Perseverance

 We were building a wall. We had to concentrate on keeping the bricks on the wall.

We were taking animals out of the water. We used chop sticks or tweezers.

One Beautiful Sunny Day

We made giant bubbles.

We were very creative with the dinosaur track. Look at our supports for the bridge.

.....and today we have the robots!

After all our practice and learning how to code, today we got to use the mouse or bee robot and code it to eat the cheese!!

Being involved with something new

We all worked together as a team to figure out how to make the mouse track. We then had turns at giving our friends (the mouse) instructions to get to the cheese. We are practicing our coding skills!

We were all involved in learning how to do "coding" on the computer". Everyone had such a fun time.
