Chrysler - I was making different colours of cakes. I was making them with playdough. I was concentrating on my cakes.
Cameron - I was making a superhero because that was what I wanted to make out of playdough.
Jenson - I was making pizza shapes. I like pizza crackers, I have them in my lunch.


Deziah - We were having a race. When I was nearly finished Mikaylah just beat me!
Mikaylah - We were racing each other to fill the boards. I won 2 times and Deziah won once.

Jessica - I was making a dogs house with the lego.
Avalee  - I made a doggie stage.

Teamwork
We need to be patient and take turns.

We can play together by sharing and speaking nicely to one another.


It is busy at the glitter table. We need to be patient and 
help each other.


Playing together is cool when we are taking turns 
and managing ourselves.

Week 6

We are making Matariki lanterns. We like using the glitter.

We love painting with the watercolours. We are thinking carefully about what colours to use and what shapes we will paint.

Two heads are better than one!!

We are working together to make a cool dinosaur land.

Communication!
We are constantly developing our communication skills during our Mana Aoturoa sessions as we talk to each other, share our ideas and listen during play.

We put the puzzles together then pretended they came to life - Deziah
Mrs Calder heard lots of great discussion about how the dinosaur lands came alive.


We were playing a matching game - Kaylee
Kaylee, Kariatiana, Emily and Isla all communicated with each other as they played the game.


Lots of talking around sharing resources at the craft activity.


I made a helicopter - Craig
North and Craig shared the Lego well.


Jenson, Otto, Zahi and Xavier were all able to use the mobilo for their creations.
